A Bad Diet Can Make You Binge
One of the worst things you can do is to try out a new diet and then discover how much you hate it, especially if you feel as if you are starving to death.
It's actually worse if you continue the diet and continue to torture yourself. Eventually you are going to fall off the wagon and eat everything in sight.
The best thing to do if you start a new diet and realise that you are hating it is to stop and have a break from dieting. Don’t jump right back on another diet, give your body some whole foods for a few days, but be careful not to binge.
Binging is very bad habit. It’s a lifestyle that we need to change if we ever want to have success in maintaining a happy and healthy weight. The best way to not get stuck in this rut is to never let ourselves get overly hungry. We need to answer that hunger pain and not let it persist too long.
For instance, you’ve gone all day without eating and then you sit down for dinner, what happens? You realise you're starving. This is where you are going to have to retrain your eating habits.
It may sound silly to say 'eat more' so you will lose weight, but in reality you are not eating more in an unhealthy way, you are regulating and making your body find a consistency in healthy eating. Stop the binging and you'll stop the starving.
